Join in the Gallery of Modern Art's fifth birthday celebrations with an exciting range of creative drawing activities designed to stimulate children's imaginations. Participants will receive a copy of a drawing journal drawn from the Children's Art Centre publication Drawing Life for Kids: My Art Journal, approved by kids for kids.
Monday 16 Jan– Friday 20 Jan 10am – 12pm
A series of four colour drawing templates focusing on celebratory
moments in a child's life will be available for young visitors
to draw on and share with family and friends.
Saturday 21 Jan 11am – 3pm
In addition to fun drawing templates, children are invited to learn
the art of drawing from life. Artist Sonya Peters will help children
draw the characters that performance and visual artist Olga Rubio
conjures up.
