Escape into the restful realms of music and song with your beautiful bub. Cradle songs is a program especially for babes in arms (aged under 18 months), featuring leading musician Karin Schaupp who will perform an enchanting selection of the world’s most beautiful lullabies on guitar.

Following the birth of her own daughter, Karin searched for lullabies from around the world to soothe her baby. Now she shares them in Cradle Songs and invites parents to share her experience as a musician and a parent. Karin is one of the most outstanding guitarists on the international scene. She performs widely on the international stage as a recitalist, concerto soloist and festival guest, and has given countless recitals in Australia, Europe, Asia, the US, Mexico and Canada. Karin’s playing receives the highest acclaim from critics and audiences alike and she is held in great esteem by her peers worldwide. Her unique stage presence and magical, passionate playing has inspired several composers to write works especially for her.

Inspired by research into early childhood development, Cradle Songs invites parents to interact with their babies and the artist and hear from an infant specialist.
