This is not a love story, it is a story about love. 

This is the story of Thom and Alethea. Two neighbours in an apartment block, trying desperately to keep their lives from falling apart. But the wall that stands between them has decided they belong together.

Following sell-out seasons across Australia, this award-winning production is a celebration of theatricality, imagination and the joy of play.

Using chalk, sock puppets, a projector and over two-dozen characters, The Escapists spin a tall tale of whimsy and architectural enlightenment. Lucas Stibbard’s captivating performance is accompanied by live music by Neridah Waters.

If you have ever been chased down the road on your bike by a magpie, if you appreciate the cheap DVDs and Pizzas of Tuesday, if you have ever pondered the meaning of life, if you have had ‘one of those days’ – this is a show for you. Not just for the younger audience, this feel-good performance is one that will have the adults rolling in the aisles with characters, situations and dance moves they know all too well!
