The 27th Gold Coast International Ceramic Art Award is a showcase of cutting edge contemporary ceramics from around the globe. Over 190 entries were received and 2010 Judge Stephen Benwell has made a tightly considered selection of 55 finalists to be displayed in the gallery. The competition is truly international with works coming from Italy, Switzerland and India and the winner receives $10,000 AUD for their work. There will also be some additional acquisitions as well as the major award to add to the gallery’s expanding collection of high-end international contemporary ceramics.
